Cooking: egg sandwiches and egg-less sandwiches for breakfast (tofu scramble with vegan cheese is the most delicious thing!)
Drinking: southern pecan iced coffee brewed at home - thank you twin for being the cutest barista in town. I loved taking our iced coffees on our walk this morning.
Reading: my gratitude journal entries from last year around this time. It's amazing to see what you've accomplished and what panned out the way you were dreaming of. It's a reminder when you see the things you are still working towards that you need to keep trying and you can't give up.
Wanting: to pursue my passion for interior design.
Looking: for the answers to things we are not supposed to know the answers to :)
Playing: memories from our road trip south in my head every day. I'll always love how free it feels being on the road, seeing places you've never seen before. Especially with my love by my side.
Wasting: time overthinking business dreams with twin when we are ready to do this now... :)
Wishing: I could be more like her when it comes to taking risks. I have a good feeling it is going to pay off when we take the leap.
Enjoying: when Ben takes me on surprise adventures. He plans a dream date every single time. Nothing better.
Waiting: for a boat day back home on the Parker River.
Liking: that we are a five minute drive to the beach and the thought of watching more sunrises there.
Wondering: how October will feel in Charleston. I hear it's one of the best months to be here.
Loving: the endless shades of pink and purple crepe myrtle that are in bloom all over town.
Hoping: that we can share this place and make memories with everyone we love.
Marveling: at the southern homes with one big oak tree in the front yard.
Needing: to get back into a workout routine if I want to keep eating everything in sight. The food here... :)
Smelling: the basil we have growing in the window.
Wearing: my new pima cotton pajamas and wondering how i lived without them. I now want to spend as much time as possible at home lounging in my pjs!
Following: my dreams and my heart.
Noticing: the live oaks covered in Spanish moss making a canopy over the roads. The beauty of the south gives me a feeling I can't describe.
Knowing: I will always believe in magic.
Thinking: about what it will be like to pass that on and teach our kids how to dream someday.
Feeling: grateful. and that it's okay to not have the future all planned out - we never have and it's been such a beautiful and exciting ride living life that way.
{Inspired by this post I wrote over four years ago. It’s crazy to look back and see where life has taken us, how we've grown and how we've stayed the same.}
