On the prettiest day in early June, I got to put on a white dress and marry the one I love.
Rain clouds had been lingering all week, but they decided to vanish so the sky could turn the most heavenly blue and fill with fluffy white clouds. The sunshine glistened in the marshes off in the distance and we realized this was the setting of our very own fairy tale.
Seven years before on the same weekend, our younger selves decided to be a little fearless and hold hands while we jumped off the dock into the river together on a warm summer night. We had no idea at the time that this magical night would be the beginning of so many more moments that would lead us here.
Just through the woods and down the hill from where we got married is the beach where we have been so lucky to boat to every summer and spend our days cuddling in the sand, marveling at how gorgeous seaside living is in this place we call home. Countless times, we would make the trek up the hill from the beach to Castle Hill and look at each other and our eyes would say, "Someday."

June 2nd was our "someday" and we still can't believe we have lived this dream.
