When Ben turned five, he was gifted a copy of "Blueberries For Sal" from his parents, which has become one of Summer's favorite books. She can read almost the entire book from memory (all 64 pages!) from all the times she has read it with her dad. When I was dreaming up ideas for S+P's party this year and with Summer turning five, it was only fitting to have the magic of the book inspire this party for our very own "little sals."
We had the sweetest celebration sipping on home brewed blueberry iced tea and welcoming purple teeth from blueberry wine. The kids bounced around with blueberry balloons and hunted for blue pom poms in the yard.
Thank you to our family who helped us pull off our big move and a party at our new house one week after moving in! We could not have given Summer and Parker
this adorable day without you!
