Last week, we celebrated our third wedding anniversary and took our growing babe out on the Parker River for the first time. It was so special getting back out on the river where we fell in love all those summers ago and to be pregnant this time! I've dreamt of days like this one for years and what it will be like to show our little one this beautiful place someday.
The weather was just a bit cooler than our wedding day (!) so we bundled with blankets and sweaters and put-putted through the marshes. It is such a beautiful ride being surrounded by the brightest shades of green this time of year. We boated down the river until we found an exposed sandbar to drop anchor for the afternoon...
We celebrated with sparkling cider and walked barefoot all around the sandbar until the tide came in, watching the piping plovers fly by :) The dreamiest part was that we could see the grounds of Castle Hill in the distance from our little sandy island... where we said "i do!"

What a beautiful day it was after a long winter of waiting for boat days to start up again.
Happy three years, hubby. I love you like never before <3
